I asked Lauren to share a little about how she found out she was pregnant with Blakely....
"We got pregnant on our honeymoon. When I found out I was pregnant, it was on a snow day, and I made my husband rush home in the cop car!
When we found out she was a girl, I thought she was a boy because my mom slipped up and said he and I pouted all day until that evening when we did the reveal and saw pink balloons; Best news ever!"
Lauren had her husband and her sister in the delivery room with her when little Blakely was born. It was amazing watching all of the love and support they surrounded her with during the delivery.
It wasn't much longer at all and Lauren was in her final push. It was finally time for Blakely's family to meet her face to face. As soon as Blakely was delivered, she was reaching for her mom! She was delivered rather quickly, and before Lauren had a chance to hold her, she was taken for her measurements. Lauren was so anxious to see and hold her little one for the first time.
The moment Blakely was taken over to her, I couldn't help but cry! Watching Lauren cling on to her precious little girl for the first time was priceless, and I am pretty sure there wasn't a dry eye anywhere in the room!
Blakely arrived at 1:41 a.m weighing 7lbs. She was 20inches long, and she is perfect! Congratulations, Lauren and Phillip. I am so glad you guys allowed me to be a part of such an amazing time in your lives.
